Title: Anabolic effects of milk..
Post by: haider on June 22, 2008, 05:55:51 PM
I thought milk was a great source of cheap protein (if its not whole milk) and great for bulking but I have heard some talk of milk not being so great in this regard?  ???

Whats the deal here?

Thanks!

fat free milk is good if your not dieting or pre-contest !

its a good blend of whey+casiene to provide for anabolic and anti catabolic proteins

because of your jewish heritage i would suggest you consume milk, it has a great protein profile and seems to cause weightloss for which the mechanism hasnt been elucidated, the fractions of whey such as lactofferrin are extremely immunostimulating and beneficial. The only people i would suggest not drink it are those with some degree of lactase defieciency as it is causing undue stress on the body and those with allergies or asthma of any type as milk is quite mucogenic(mucous forming), hopefully you fall into this category.

hope this helps
