Own all the albums from which these songs originate. Except for Nuclear Assault and Sodom. Never got into the former and only own two from the latter. "Desperate Cry" and "Painkiller" are probably my favourites from your list.

Have you gotten the new Priest album yet? I bought the hardcover book special edition. It needs more spins, though, before I make a final call. So far I like it.

I have bought almost 20 CDs these past few weeks and am WAY behind in my listening.

Nice to see that some people still support the musicians.

my excuse for downloading is that I once before owned most of these CD's :D but lost them or somebody nicked them off me :D

That's true.  I have no problem downloading "free" music that I once paid for but subsequently lost.  If I've never paid for the music before, though, I will buy it from a pay site like iTunes.

Never downloaded a song or album in my life. Every CD I own I bought.

I have been a diehard metalhead since the very early 80s and support the artists who write, perform and record the music I enjoy. Period.

A couple of years ago I bought the members of Decapitated dinner when the band rolled through town. They were tired and hungry and almost dead broke. They were friendly and genuinely appreciative of my support ... so I bought them dinner. Dudes didn't have a crew and, as a death metal group, weren't raking in the money. It was my pleasure to help. All the way from Poland to play the music they love to their small fan base and I am not gonna buy them food when I learn they're halfways starving?
