Always one of the best shows of the year. Who will leave Vegas as the newest IFBB Pros? Last year Ben White promised he was the greatest of all time. Will it be Sean Allen this year? Brandon Curry, Mike Liberatore, Brandon Ray and others will be tough in the Heavyweight Class.
Pics from the contests...

Mike Liberatore should get a pro card for sure. He looked flawless last week.

Can he match up to Brandon Curry?
Brandon has yet to match the level of conditioning Mike showed in Chicago. Can Jeff Long come in better condition than Chicago and upset Liberatore? I like Mike's physique and think he's more complete than Jeff. Brandon's made major improvements since Nationals but has yet to come in with sic conditioning to a show.

We got some good competitors entering the show. At the NPC Jr. California, I spoke to Pete Ciccone, Tamar Elguindy, and Mona Liza Reyes (who won her class this weekend), and all of them will be competing at the NPC USAs!
-
I think its Mike Liberatore's show to lose. He brings in something totally different than Brandon Curry. CONDITIONING.
And when they stand next to each other that will really stand out. Also, Curry isnt that much bigger than Mike, so it'll be interesting.

Yea, it should be interesting between the top three mentioned about - Mike and Brandon and Sean and you're not the first who mentioned Tamor this past week.
If you see Tamor, let him know that he's getting some very serious support from some knowledgeable and worthwhile friends in the Fresno area.
Brandon Ray shown below- Is he new on the USA stage? Or did he compete in LV previously? What wt class?

Brandon competed at last year's Jr. Nationals and looked good. He'll have his work cut out for him in this show. He won the Light-Heavyweight at the 2007 Jr. Nationals and this will be his first time competing at USAs. I've been told he recently took a job and will be moving to LA. He works for CNN and will continue to work for them in Cali. He's currently dating NPC Nationals female bodybuilding champ, Kristi Hawkins.

Sitting front and center, I'd say it's a three person race for the overall title tonight.
Edward Nunn - Brandon Curry - Curtis Bryant

thanks, you're a leader

Curry was training at my gym for a few weeks with his beautiful girlfriend Brandy Leaver, who is competing in the figure competition. They both look terrific. Good luck to them both.

This one's for Arvilla ;D
Super Heavyweight:
In one of the weakest super heavyweight classes in recent memory, Sam Nunn and Grigori Atoyan emerged as the front runners; while Kirk Defrancesco seems to be bringing up the 3rd spot. If the judges go for symmetry and conditioning, Nunn should take the class. If they look for sheer mass and density, Atoyan will get the nod. We'll have to wait till tomorrow night to find out which way the class goes.
No BSA? ;D

Brandon plans to take a year off and then decide what's up next. Wise decision.
