well, one thing is for sure, he was probably called one more than anybody in history.  Along with every other lefty socialist dirty name they could think of.

Clinton started Lib to solidify the base and then ran the country most just left of Center or center. He had libs around him but he's not a nutbag by any stretch.

Exactly.  Clinton was liberal but moved to the center in many issues.  This is the first time (that I can remember) that the democratic tradition of moving to the center to win the general election will not likely apply.  I see Obama sticking with his core far left views.

Bill clinton was a pretty good president IMO.  That was a good time for our nation.

Besides alot of foreign policy mistakes....but we enjoyed a strong economy etc.
