What the hell will $10k buy me?  That really isn't a lot of money, except to a kid who isn't making all that much to begin with.

That said, right now I don't need 10 lbs of muscle, either... I'm as big as I want to be.

So, when I first started lifting I probably would have taken the 10 lbs of muscle, now I guess I'd take the $10k, but it really won't do anything for me.  :-\
     Godddddddd , Goatboy , you are so wealthy  :o :o :o :o

Neither would I,  my point is it isn't enough to effect the whole "10 pounds of muscle" question one bit.  If I needed or wanted 10 additional lbs of muscle, of course I would take the muscle.

A better way to pose the question would have been "would you rather have $100,000 or ten pounds of muscle".

gaining 10 lbs of real muscle is very hard.  I'm not talking water or roid bloat, dry contest muscle no fat.

10k ISN'T much.

10lbs of muscle is far more difficult to get than 10k. Especially if we are talking US$.

It's only 6500 Euros.

lol, are you kidding me??

6500 Euros more every month will affect my lifestyle, but what is 6500 Euros? A better holiday. You can't even buy a car for that, or move to a bigger house/apartment.

10k is nothing, let's talk 100k and the thing is clear.

If you = hot, then 10 extra pounds of muscle could refine your physique and eventually indirectly help you earn more than 10k, for example if you are going the Derek Anthony stripper route. 8)

Ordinarily, I'd say 10K, as I stay in decent shape most times.

But, with my newly-assumed 'skinny fatness', and no lifting, I'd hafta say the 10 pounds of myo!

That's a realy tough decision.  I think right now I would take the 10k, but normally it would be the 10lbs.  Right now times are tough.
