I was hoping to get the exact hebrew for the Jerusualem Talmud 4:1 (22a).  I actually don't need a translation, per se.  I just need to know how it appears in the Talmud.

In english it goes something like:  Whoever saves one person, it as if he saved an entire world."

I want it as a tattoo, but I don't want it coming out saying something different.

Full verse:
כל המאבד נפש אחת מעלין עליו כאילו איבד עולם מלא וכל המקיים נפש אחת מעלין עליו כאילו קיים עולם מלא

The portion you want:
מי שהציל נפש אחת - כאילו הציל עולם ומלואו

Depends what character face the copy of the book is in :-X

Archaic style might be more fitting for a tattoo rather than Arial / Verdana on a computer.

Highly suggest you find someone with at least some knowledge in the Hebrew language otherwhise, your tattoo might read:

He who sucks off one man, might as well suck off the entire world.

not to be a dick but why do you want to tattoo yourself with a language you can't read?

No I know what you mean..  I wanted the quote as it originaly appeared in the Talmud.  I guess I could get it in english or spanish, but that would be lame.  I care more for the meaning, rather than the language.
