Good for the NYT. After seven years, Bush is proven to be clueless in the search for Osama...

Regardless if you like Bush or any leader for that matter, several groups of the media simply go to far...the NYT is one of the worst IMO.
There used to be an unspoken code of ethics when it came to the media and government classified material dealing with national security and things of that nature.
IMO, the media for the last 30 years or so has begun to abuse it's rights...especially in the last 8.

Shame on them, not that it matters ::) We all knew they would drag one of those look-a-likes out when the timing was right. They'll make a giant production out of how they Bush W. Superman saved the world. Most here have seen this coming. No doubt there will also be news or maybe already has been news that Al-Qaeda is somehow stronger without him or something that will allow them to keep "the boogieman" alive while taking the glory for bringing the world's biggest criminal to justice. It's McBush's only hope. Help me Obi W Bush ::)

Ur a world class idiot. Shit like this puts lives our guys at risk. There is no excuse for it. Newsweek did this shit with the Koran fiasco and it caused major problems. None of which were true stories. The readership of the NYT is tanking. Fuck them.

yes, there's no way the American people should be informed that we're about to nab one of the assclowns who took a few thousand dollars to play Osama for a day.

Yeah and there's also a thing called Law and the Constitution. There also used to be this unspoken code of ethics that the Government shouldn't lie to the American people. But I guess we live in the "real world" right? ::)

What's the big deal?
Bush and his people have said for years that OBL is not important anymore?
I'd have to see the article before I'd say that common knowledge (OBL is a bad guy that should be caught) is putting lives at risk.

Bush should be happy - now he can use this story as his most recent excuse for failing yet again to catch bin laden
It's really too bad that Judith Miller doesn't work there anymore. If she did, then Scooter Libby's replacement could just tell her what to say and she could write it up as "news"

That's good. Manufactured 'evidence' in our news and in the National Intelligence Estimate summaries...all brought to you by the Bush Administration--grudginly taking the USA to war one country at a time.
