Title: All about Dung on History Channel
Post by: Parker on June 30, 2008, 07:54:08 PM
A show on the History Channel about Dung. Some Notables, in India, some people wash their dishes with cow crap, and wash with cow crap soap, and even brush their teeth with toothpaste made from cow crap. In S. Africa there is  Wilderbeast Dung spitting contests (and no, I saw no black Africans doing that in the segment). And again in India, The Untouchables clean human toilets, because they are...Untouchables. So a toilet that was made so that one doesn't have to clean it was developed...

Shit, it's more than just "Dropping the kids off at the Pool"

Yep, they touched on that as well. Dried dung Actually, it had to be heated to acertain temp, and then used.

Also, "Saltpeter a ingredient in Guano gunpower was used to blow up a toilet...

Of course it was dried. Makes it easier to burn

Mostly cow dung, and not other stuff.

I meant they dried it on a wall. In round shaped patties.

Let me say this again.....Indian folk are some of the nastiest, dirtiest people on the planet. That's why you'll NEVER, and Gordiano means NEVER, see me eating at an Indian restaurant. I heard the dirtiest ones are in Dubai, however.

Did you see the show on Bathrooms.  Same night.  That uncloggable toilet was awesome.  It could flush a dozen golfballs.  I am getting them for my gym.  They are only about $600 each too.

No, I didn't, but they did a show right after that on Torture devices, and they recreated them. Plus they re-created a Brazen Bull torture device, which roasts the victim to death.
