Title: Mental Patient Drops Dead in Waiting Room and is Ignored For more than an Hour
Post by: Stark on July 01, 2008, 10:37:22 AM: A 49 year old mental patient at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, was left on the floor to die. The video, shows a security guard walking over to the patient, and simply walking away. Moments later, a male Dr. does the same thing. News reports indicate that the Dr. was fired, and the nurses and security guards were suspended.

Altho so many have to....NEVER, EVER depend on the ER for your health care.

I have had HUNDREDS of car accident patients come in to see me following ER visits...and oh so many are misdiagnosed, undiagnosed, and multiple anomalies and fractures missed on poorly-shot x-rays...the list goes on and on.

Agree, but they have no choice, in many cases. Just too many people.

The doctors arent bad but the staff are usually horrible

The doctors are also rushed and annoyed.. No patient to doctor connection pretty much. Nurse = animals

Happy to have my insurance and a doc of my choice

lol theres a 1.5 million nurse shortage in the Untied States I think it goes a bit beyond Nurses equaling Animals
