If it's the first thing in the morning why would you point out " on an empty stomach ? " hahahhahahahaha

you are so stupid it's actually funny

If you eat or drink something first then it's " second thing in the morning"

Hope this helps

Cardio 1st thing in morning. No solid food prior. But i think having some pure whey protein isolate would be ok have pre-cardio. absolutely no carbs or fats though.

Doesn't matter what time. Just not on a full stomach.

Well I was always told after my work out because I should of exhausted my glycogen levels while anaerobic training so When I get onto the machine my body should go right into fat burning mode. and as long as I keep my Hr below 140 or can  carry a conversation I shouldn't be doing any harm to my muscle mass? Although many here might refute my statement, regaurdlessn of any scientic experiments or findings If you know your body well  what works for u may not work for others so in essence to each his own

I agree.

You guys need to stop getting your info from Flex and do some real research. I hear all this BS about doing these long cardio sessions in the mornings on an empty stomach. Aside from just doing a research lets use a little commonsense.

You stop eating the night before around 8-9:00, sleep 8 hours or so, get up and do a long slow sustained cardio session with no energy source. Why do "cardio" when you don't have the energy to do it. Stick with HIIT after your weight training, carbs before and post workout.

Damn, this is getting monotonous >:(

Yeah if you want to destroy your body's metabolism. Doing cardio or any workout first thing on empty stomach will have your body think there is not enough food and starving. It might work first 1-2 weeks then it will beginning to store and lower your energy output to protect itself. At least have some protein and fats first. Other than that do as much cardio as you can stand. 3 times a day is realistic if you looking for max fatburn. Doing it in the morning will leave you softer and smaller in the end, so it might be good if you want to weigh less but not get really low in BF.

HIT cardio whenever during the day on your off-days from the gym, as long as you have eaten something.

Best: In the morning after 1-1.5 scoops of protein ( make sure your protein powder doesnt have any carbs)

Second Best : immediately after workout
