i just thought since you're questioning how a guy with a million times more muscle than you trains that you'd be some type of expert.

But to answer your question: you can be a proponent of any training system and have a good physique, but it doesn't mean thats its the tried and tested training sytem.
-Secondly, HIT has absolutely no scientific backing to it. It's basically a dogma.
-Drugs are a factor here.

Have you ever tried HIT? I've just started to cycle a form of it into my training and I'm finding that it forces you to go to failure, if you do it right. I can tell that I won't stay on it forever because it's just not enough days in the gym cause you do full body 3 times a week in under 20 minutes a session but it seems like a good way to change things up to me.

Mike is a very smart bodybuilder. He used to read philosophy daily and was a huge fan of Ayn Rand.
In the GMV Mentzer DVD "In the Gym", he did criticize young people for partying too much (specifically citing using coke) and not reading enough Ayn Rand, lol.

Try HST instead if you want to go the high frequency route IMO.

I liked Mentzer. He had some very good ideas, and was dead wrong about other things.
