Just that I never paid attention to national holidays.
But you know my take on tribalism/nationalism.
There is a further point: the United States of today bears almost no resemblence whatsoever to what it was when it was founded. If things were similar to back then there would be cause to celebrate; today all we can celebrate is corporatism, debt and endless war. It's really sad.

Come on now, let's not look back 200 years with rose tinted glasses and romanticise about how perfect everything was.
Things change, the USA needed to be competitive etc. etc.
