i normally drink 30 grams protein, which is 1/2 whey, 1/2 casien; right after my workout
when i get home i cook up 10 ounces ground beef, throw in some veggies, and make a bowl of oatmeal (1 cup, or 50 grams carbs) with non fat milk and cinnamon and another scoop of protein in the oatmeal

Bulking on cereal?
Eat a steak, a yam and some broccoli...
Don't make this complicated, it shouldn't be.
Good luck.

Yes, and for variety, substitute brocolli with any other cruciferous vegetable (cauliflower, brussle sprouts, etc) and/or green beans, add some brown rice if your work out was partcularly intense. On occasion you can go with the baked potato instead of the yam but keep the portion reasonable and no butter/sour cream of course. For meat, red meat is king, but you can double the portion of wild caught fish and the chicken breast is good on occasion.

nobody gawks at someone who says "i drink waxy maize and whey isolate post workout"... but yet cereal and whey is a no-no ???
dude your cereal plus whey protein is just fine for post workout
all the other meals you want slow digesting meat proteins and complex carbs
