Title: What ever happened to the new Japanese bodybuilding circuit?

I remember reading a story a couple years back about a new Japanese bodybuilding circuit that was going to lure a lot of IFBB pros because of the huge prize money.  Nothing ever seemed to have happened with this.  Was it another WBF?

THere was never any "circuit"..there was one show that was in the planning stages that went bust when Hidetada was arrested, as the promoters of the show were also his management team...it may be put on at some point in the future.

A show, but it promised prize money that was right up or more than the olympia and it rewarded almost all competitors with a big prize.  There was an article with some worry that some IFBB guys would just compete in those shows.

nah, this talk was 2+ years ago Chick.

Not the one IFBB show.  This was talk of an entire federation with a lot of $, that never materialized.
