I think that was a little excessive. 

The Japanese woman sure displayed a lot of guts and heart by sticking with the competition through to the end taking all that punishment. The samurai spirit lives on.  It was pretty funny when they showed HER parents.  Damn..she looked as old as they were.

I think the show needs people with enough size to take the gladiators head-on. Except for one or two competitors all of them seem to be under 6 feet and woefully weak against the gladiators. Lets see some big guys in there that will be able to match power with the glads and rip 'em up.

You have to wonder how the producers managed to fuck this up so badly.

They had to work hard as hell to succeed in producing such a jacked-up, completely unwatchable program. 

IF Season 3 is to happen (and that's highly doubtful at this point), at least they'll be rid of the current hosts, Hogan and Ali. 

Turning the cameras off whenever the contenders start talking would be a good start and then getting in some decent competition would help it to become at least somewhat interesting.
