Never saw the movie, but defintely saw the pics and I still can't believe them. I agree with the borderline maniacal statement. Absolutely outrageous; I wonder what the other people on the set thought.
-

He doesn't look that bad in the movie. That picture everybody uses is where he makes himself look that bad.

Bales said that all he ate is 1 apple a day and water for the machinst...after that was Batman...severe rebound effect and training which is why he looked soo good....
Unfortunately he will be shadowed by ledger in Batman...villain always does better than the hero
-
His diet was 1 can of tuna per day + whiskey and cigarettes! Just read that in GQ. In hindsight he thinks he went too far. Great actor, one of the best holywood has to offer.

American Psycho = probably my favorite movie
He gained a shit load of weight for the Batman movie afterwards.. Like 100 lbs
-
he lost almost as much weight for Rescue Dawn which was a far better movie
-
Dude looks pretty healthy lol now
He is amazing

That pic was before the machinist, I agree rescue Dawn is fun to watch because the filmed the movie in the same sequence as the story, so you can see him wasting away more and more as the film progresses.
