Title: Does anybody has some problems in the wrist area?
Post by: Stark on July 15, 2008, 04:25:04 AM
Happen to me a while ago, I went on to do Incline Bench Press and the pin in the back of the bench slipped out and I had no
backsupport for a second, basicly fell back and just about balanced out the weight (suprised me).
I put the bar on my quads and than to the ground pretty much in one motion and that's when it happend.

when I was about to lower it to the ground it must have "ripped" to hard on my wrists because I feelt a sharp pain that disapeared after a while.
Now I have litteraly a lot of issues, Its not that bad that I cannot lift at all, but It gets me worried alright.

Pressing movements are not a problem, pulling is however painfull.

Anybody else had that issue before and what did you do?

Yep I'm not going to the doctor ofen but I think I should in this case, it's just that it's not painful as long as I bend the wrist or flex it.

Kinda the same happened to me while shoulder pressing.
Right wrist - loud pop sound.
Had pain for 2-4 months - then it was gone.

Didn't see a doc, though I recommend it.
Maybe wrap the area during the healing phase.

I know, I know it's damn hard to get up every morning to go to work when you have a child, I don't have
a child yet but my work colleague has one and I can see how demanding this is to him.

Karl Kox may have permanant wrist damage

nah his wrists have already surpassed the next evolutionary step

1) They got rid of the index finger too  = useless
2) His hand has a tighter grip
3) the fingers are longer for maximum pleasure
