Looking back on some pix of bodybuilders (I won't name any names) who have gotten bigger over the course of 2-3 years it's clear that some effectively traded a full head of hair for 10-30lbs of more muscle. Assuming you have a full head of hair would you trade it (going for the shaved head/male pattern baldness look) for the physique you have always wanted? ???
-
never ever... ever I'm glad that I have full hair and it grows so fast that I think I may never loose it...
-
I have both, so there's nothing to wish for me in this thread alone. :)

i agree, the problem with Iran however is that they have the military muscle to really give us some trouble. :-\

They want us to believe their sweet innocence. Their political agenda is quite troublesome.
-
Would you trade a full head of hair for muscle?
No way, dude. Hair is 50% of a person's attractiveness. Sure, some people look awesome with their heads fully shaved. Even some chicks look smokin' hot with shaved heads, but most people don't. Hair frames your face and can really enhace the way you look. Cutting and styling your hair in the correct way might enhance your attractveness by 25%.

That's not who I was thinking of but he certainly qualifies.

yeah I'd give up my hair for muscle

Absolutely not.
But then again, the physique I have and prefer doesn't require massive anabolic dosages resulting in hair loss.

Why would you need more muscle than you can have being natural while looking really good, lean and healthy and feel great anyway. What is this quest of obsession about acquiring as much muscle mass on the body as possible. Where did it all start...?
-
why hair are so important for you guys ?
I couldn't care less about losing my hair, I shave them once in a while anyway.
now if your question would be: would you trade your ability to get a boner for muscle, that would be no fucking way :o
I know guys who don't give a fuck if they can get it up or not, I don't understand them ???

Stupid question - the shaved head/bald head look is awesome (look at Ronnie, and Branch as 2 examples). Hair is for guys who are stuck in the 80's wearing clown pants....

hahaha reminds me of two 50 year old german twats I see around town here. Their entire waredrobe consists of those 80's gym "clown wear" pantaloons and mid riff tee shirts or muscle singlet combos.
I have been living in the same place for 5 years and not one single time, whether I have seen em shopping, having coffee ect, they have been out of uniform. Showing the world that they are permanently "just between sets". By the way they are both sporting remnants of the 80s mullet pony tail. Fukin sad old douchbags

Taking steroids is a homosexual activity, no doubt about it. But I am already bald, so 10 pounds of muscle for hair that doesn't even exist is a good trade.

i laugh at guys in their 20s, 30s, 40s that lost their hair because of steroids and i think one should look up to men in their 50s that have always been natural, spot a good body and have a head full of hair.

pityful...
but there is nothing more idiotic than these guys that lost their hair with steroids and then lose all the muscle a bit later when they marry and get kids.
only the bald head and the stretch marks tell the story of their lost muscles.

Steroids have nothing to do with hair loss-it is purely gentetics.
Look at Ronnie, Dorian, Lee Haney, Samir. They all have hair. If you're going to lose your hair-it is going to happen with or without steroids.

Balding = DHT levels / Androgren receptor sensitivity in hair follicles lol.
Some women have high sensitivity to DHT but they never suffer MPB because they don't have enough testosterone in their body to be converted into dihydrotestosterone which causes balding.
Female bodybuilders use other drugs to prevent the testosterone they inject from being converted to DHT, DHT has some anabolic effect though which is why most male bodybuilders don't bother to block it.

There are a lot of celebs who do The Hair Club for Men thing. :o
They put down a mesh-like netting. The next step is that they fill in all the little holes in the mesh with hair. Lastly, they tie it to the hair on both sides of the head.
The gross part is when you have to go back for 'servicing.'
They remove it (it starts to move and slip as the real hair on both sides of he head grows) and they scrape all of the 'cheese' off the head. This is all the dead skin cells, dandruff, and sweat buildup and such.
GROSS. :P
They clean the hair attachment (fancy words for rug) and reattach it. One has to go for 'servicing' about four times a year on average. Some go every month.
Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez, Chuck Norris, Nicolas Cage, John Travolta, Tommy Lee Jones and Brenden Fraser are just a few of the celebs who wear them.
I remember back when that Sy Sperling guy was being interviewed on some show. It might have been Carson when he was still with us. Anyway, he said that the general public would be surprised how many celebs wear his 'hair system' or something similar from a rival company.
-
My friend was surprised the other day when I told him Michael Jackson wore a wig (and has for years). He didn't seem to want to believe it. Helloooo! Jacko was 50 years old, had copious amounts of thick black hair with nary a grey hair in sight. Was any part of him still real? ::)

you sure bout that? they take a graph of hair from the back of your head ,you know where the hair isnt genectically predispositioned to fall out. they put it in the front where you need it and ta-dah its your real hair that grows in about six months. Thats what the celebs are doin. See Mathew McKonahay(sp?).
-
You're talking about hair transplantation.
This is not that. This is a 'hair system'. It's a fancy term for a rug that they actually attach to one's head by weaving it into one's existing hair.
For whatever reason, many celebs take this approach.
I've heard that 10 to 12% of people are not good candidates for hair transplants because they don't have enough donor hair and/or they have too much bald space to cover. Also, I hear they don't like to perform the operation on heavy smokers because a lot of the new graphs (folical units of two to three hairs) don't take root due to poorer blood circulation to the head in smokers.
The celebs I mentioned wear the rugs.
But you're right about MM. He definitely went the transplant route and was very successful.
Another celeb is the guy from the television show Burn Notice. Also, there have been rumors that George Clooney has a small transplantation of hair in the front several years ago when he first noticed some thinning.

didnt you see all his brothers at the Memorial....every single one had a full head of hair, completely full, except for the one that shaved it....Im sure Michael did too, except for the bald spot but I think he was just lazy and didnt want to be seen with nappy hair, so he wore the wig. It was a bad wig, though...you'd think he could get a good one.
