Now, the usual disclaimer: the figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, which can oftentimes be a substantial portion of a fighter's income. They also do not include any other "locker-room" or special bonuses the UFC oftentimes pays. In other words, these are simply base salaries reported to the commission and do not reflect entire compensation packages for the event.

I can't believe Brandon Vera made that much money!
The Anthony Johnson decison (TKO) was bullshit. I didn't understand that one. The other guy should have been disqualified for poking him in the eye after he had been warned by the ref.

I agree, Brandon should have owned that fight. What is the point of dropping weight if you are going to put out lame fights. Some of this UFC shit is just pathetic now days, and that eye gouge shit was ridiculous. Anthony should have given him a fuckin mule kick right in the sack for that cheap shit that Burns was pulling.

I remember seeing the guy fight on the undercard of Liddel/Couture III and thinking "this guy is a can't miss".....now he just bores the shit out of me.
and I really don't like having the shit bored out of me !
