I think this is very racist!

He should sue the announcer for all he's worth, and when the little round faced Indian is pronounced victorious in court he can say: "Hmm, it hurts the miss that one!"

Hell, No, his ass should have know that. That is like asking a black kid what does MLK stand for, and he says "MILK?"

I think some of the responses are.  ;D

Why should he have known that? Listen to his voice? Does he sound like a kid from New Delhi?
Or does he sound like a kid who's lived in the USA his whole life? Is he even Indian? Do we know this for a fact? He could have been Kenyan, Trinidadian, Guyanese, Sri Lankan, etc., etc., etc., It hurt because it was the daily double and he lost ALL his points. His opponents had 1200 & 0. He could have pulled far ahead of the leader, who was only ahead of him by 200 points, instead he missed the question and lost everything. Of course it's gonna hurt!

Alex wasn't referring to the points loss, he knew the guy was Indian and he made a point of it. No big deal. The guy agreed with him too.

I don't have an accent, I do know quite a bit about my ancestry and country. So its ignorance on his part.

he does look Indian and his family is probably Hindu. I don't think its racist.
