Title: Is the "identify" argument a myth?
Post by: Bluto on July 23, 2008, 07:15:15 AM
from time to time we hear that the people going to bodybuilding shows doesnt IDENTIFY with the bodybuilders they see on stage...

and my take on that is - so what?

is that some kinda bullshit or not ?

do people stay home and say "yeah id love to go to the olympia but hell these days i cant IDENTIFY with them beasts on stage !!!!"

Yeah, I mean we go to the movies and last time I checked I'm one of the 5% of getbiggers who can't identify with somebody making 20million per movie.

Isnt the exact opposite true that people go to the shows to see bodybuilders that look NOTHING like they do?

Kinda like going to a strip club you dont want the girls to look like and act like your wife, or you might as well stay at home
