U guys assume we want to "come home" at all costs and that we don't want to win, or have what we've sacrificed go for nothing. I think that mentality is defeatist and sells us short. This is not a draftee army, everybody knows what they signed up for.

Agreed they all knew what they were signing up for.

Many signed up for the goal of college and a good job when they got out.

Not saying they don't support the mission, of course they do.

But judging by donations, they want to come home to the families.

Obama didn't visit the wounded troops because he wasn't allowed to bring the press with him, that being said he chose not to go.

I assume you'll do the mission you're directed to do and on that level I will honor the hell out of that.  I don't think that angle describes it right.
