From running, I have a severe bunion and deformity on my left foot.
My big toe is at 45 degrees instead of straight.
They have to break it, and then screw it back together,
and have a bunionectomy!
I'm all stocked on Painmeds (roxycodone 15mgx2)and xanax 2mg bars!

My friend had bunion surgery on both feet 3 times. The doc. that did the first 2 surgeries apparently wasn't very good :-\
Her last surgery she said Vicodin didn't touch the pain so she got morphine pills which helped a lot.
She is an avid runner and she had to stop temporarily and wear some ugly shoes for awhile but she is fine now!

Thanks stella. I hope this pain medicine will be enough. I can take 2 of them for 30mg, thats like 6 regular strength vicodin.

I guess the doctor hasn't told you yet, but most toes like that end up being amputated. I'm sure he's going to do his best to save it, but just wanted to make sure you're aware of it.

I guess the doctor hasn't told you yet, but most toes like that end up being amputated. I'm sure he's going to do his best to save it, but just wanted to make sure you're aware of it.
Maybe he'll be lucky and just lose a toe and not his foot.

The overconsumption of expensive fish leads directly to just these sorts of problems. Grab some bolt cutters and go to work on it you big daffodil.

I have pics, but to high on my oxycodone
to find the cord.
It was a huge bunion, with the big toe cut in half,
and screwed back together.
I feel like shit unless I'm sleeping.
Ice helps, but fuck, the Dr said it woulnd't hurt this bad
them cocksuckers!!!!!!!!

On an unrelated note, I was a 65-pound ten year old and my dad made me mow a very hilly yard. i was too weak to really mvoe the mower, but anyway...
I was pushing the lawn mower up it, and my foot slipped into the mower. It shredded my brand new Kango-Roo tennis shoe, and while it didn't cut my toes off, I crunched them so hard out of instinct that broke off my big toenail. I crunched my foot to teh earth so hard that the nail cracked.
Under the nail, it was the weird looking skin. Took months to grow back. To this day, my tbig toe looks a little different (it was probably broken too with the crunch), hence my inability to break into teh foot fetish porn industry with any real success.

Bunion surgery is nothing today....I know of a couple of co-workers and family members that have had the surgery and they were up and around after about six weeks. There was minimal pain afterwards...they were given some pain meds but nothing as dramatic as Oxycotin, morphine...more like Duract and a another pain med which I can not think of the name right now. The necessity of following doctors orders and not trying to walk on the foot for the first week or two is IMPERATIVE..Keeping the foot elevated for that time period is also very important. When starting to walk buy new wider sneakers to begin the transition to bearing weight onto your foot and only walk minimally. After the six weeks you should be OK, but not necessarily in a state where you can workout on leg presses, squats or calf raises. You can however workout all other parts of your body. Should go well...that is unless you have some HAM AND EGG doctor that is practicing...then you will be up SHIT'S CREEK!!!!!

Were you required to go under for this surgery???
When I had my rt biceps tendon repaired/reattached I was put under...
I had so many fucking drugs in my system I could not take a piss not matter how hard I tried....very painful.
Hope you dont have that problem.

You may think about calling and getting the morpheine pills. According to my friend's information if you get them.....you'll want to be sure to take in a lot of extra fiber :)
