... and there was this totally crappy music on the system. I mean like, oldies. Not like 80's butt-rock or anything like that. I mean like, from the 50's and 60's.
This has been happening way too much recently, so I went to the front desk and told the little cutie there to change it to something tolerable.
She said no-can-do.
I said, "And just why the hell not, Pray tell???"
She explains that the old people and the 'naturalist crowd' (whatever the hell that entails) come in and complain, say the music is stressful (no, really that's the word she used), and it ruins their workouts. So the owner has dictated that only non-offensive, neutral music must be on...
I of course replied "WTF, nobody cares about them, change the station, please"... and she said no because someone might come in and complain to the owner again.
::)
Damn I hate people.
Does this crap happen at your gym? Maybe I need to invest in an ipod or something....

sounds like that little tart working the desk needed a nice round of surprise sex to open her horizons.

Yea, I gotta admit the thought did cross my mind. Cute little half-breed.

Agreed.
When I trained at Golds we could just call the front desk on our cell or a house phone when the music was shitty and they would change it. I think you need to find a more hardcore gym.
