If true, this actually shows signs of hope for Vince. It would be like a drunk finally, after crashing three cars, killing two kids, and spending 10 years in prison, admitting he has a problem with booze. Vince is not a bodybuilder. He knows nothing about bodybuilding. He has no business on a bodybuilding stage. Withdrawing from the contest indicates some measure of contact with reality.

I think he is just taking a year off so he can add some more mass to his finished product.

I wonder how many people out there think that bodybuilding must be a simple thing to do? You know, lift weights and get big. Today we have all manner of people doing fitness leader courses who are not into fitness or bodybuilding. You put them in a gym and they have no clue at all. Goodrum at least has diplommas and degrees he obtained on line. Amounts to about the same thing.

Look, fellas, I have had a gym for over 37 years now and I never discourage anyone from competing. Melvin is a bodybuilder for sure and he goes through the motions of getting ready, etc., for contests and actually competes. Sure, he gets everyone thinking he is going to be great then shows up looking very ordinary. He could build himself up if he trained properly. He has long muscle bellies so who knows how big he could get. Trouble is he wears glasses so can't see himself properly in the mirror. No doubt his mom and mates tell him he looks great.

And no, I don't think anyone's surprised.  Then again, Vince hasn't let not being in shape deter him from competing in the past...

I'll look a lot better at my next event.  I'm working with people who really know their stuff and helping me in getting as shredded as possible.  I'm already at 188 pounds and I'll most likely step onstage at around 175 pounds.  My legs are 500% times better, the only issue I have right now is with my lower back and hamstrings.  Part of the big improvement is the recent lift on the use of 7-Keto in the INBF and I've been taking 100mg tablets which has been really melting away the fat.

So see you all soon at the Mountaineer if you're coming.  Its going to be a great show as Mr Morrison does everything right for the competitors and runs the best shows in North Carolina

The lights were way too bright for the event and combined with the Pam caused a serious over-glare.   Even in my rear biceps pose, you can't even see my calves well even though its my best bodypart.

This time I'm bringing some Jan Tana with me so that it doesn't happen again

Vince:

C'mon, just for once - try to get shredded or atleast "harder". Your quads are okey, arms too.. so..? We all know you're natural but naturals have also the ability to come in shredded contest-time. Just some constructive critisizm.

Vince Goodrum simply does not diet long enough. He should add 3 - 4 months to his diet - time, and he will come in much better.

He should also consider weight training, ANYTHING could be recognized as improvement, like doing his posing routine in the dark as Keith recommended.

He doesn't need to diet. He has added 7-Keto to his arsenal; it melts away the fat. I predict a crushing victory.

I was training and dieting for the show however at the time and currently, I am under house arrest as some people knew.  Although I would have gotten a go ahead to travel to Boone, I decided not too as I felt it would not look right to compete with an ankle bracelet on.  It would have been a complete embarrassment to do something like that

I have for the most part maintained my diet and am currently at 181 pound and I will be ready for the NPC Elite Classic in November.....without the bracelet.

Well....some drunk guy was honking his horn at me and calling me black out of his truck.  So I got out the car and slugged him a few times in the face.  Guy drove off and went to the police station.  Got charged with simple assault and the judge gave me 90 days house arrest since I was obviously provoked and the guy was drunk.

Well....some drunk guy was honking his horn at me and calling me guy out of his truck.  So I got out the car and slugged him a few times in the face.  Guy drove off and went to the police station.  Got charged with simple assault and the judge gave me 90 days house arrest since I was obviously provoked and the guy was drunk.

hahahahahaahahahaahahaah ahahaahaahahahaahahaah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Man I swear I just spit up my Captain Crunch with Crunchberries on this one.  Man Goodrum I swear you are the funniest fucker on the internet.  The bullshit that comes out of that "dickhole" of yours is hilarious.  Derek spits on you and you do nothing.  Of course that could be because you are used to having QUeer Vissy spit up on you after he gives you head.  Yet when a 80 year old handicap man honks his horn at you, you beat him up.  Man, you truly are a comedy writer.

Melvin is definitely an internet legend. What a pity he wasn't able to get married up in Canada as was planned. Just proves that no one messes with Goodrum! Truck drivers usually carry something to deal with characters like Melvin. Guess he took out all his stored anger from the internet abuse on that hapless drunk.
