Think about it.
they can't field a candidate that doesn't have to pander to extreme socialist or overly liberal ideals or policies. Most Americans just aren't that "left" and the extreme right doesn't seem that whacked out to them.
The democrats should disband themselves and another party, more middle should take over.

Well said. The other thing about the far left is they are so hateful and intolerant. Seems hypocritical, no?

Then there is team neocon... I'm pretty pissed at both parties and if you want the truth of it, the polls show a vast majority of Americans feel the same way.

no doubt, no doubt.
But they will lean away from the libs. That's the "pudding" the republican propaganda machine has talked us into swimming in.

That ain't no pudding, ...that's quicksand. If you don't see Bill Cosby, ...it ain't pudding!

Libs were demonized well, and fear was cultivated well, for 7 years.
At this point, many people aren't scared of shit, and care more about losing their house than "keeping those lousy libs down". The only terrorist threats are allowed to happen here (yes bitches, 911 was allowed to happen), and no matter how bad you think libs are, if Obama offers your ass a $1000 stimulus check, he's gonna get some votes from folks not making mortgages.

Not dead, because there are only two viable parties and they'll always control about half of everything so long as we only have a two-party system (or 90 percent of everything in Hawaii).
But . . . they are intellectually bankrupt (as Colin Powell said years ago). I don't think they need to disband. They need to get rid of much of the old guard and elect better candidates.
The Republican party has been floundering for the past several years too. No true leader. Haven't been able to focus on a specific agenda. Unable to stick to conservative principles.

I think the democratic party has become a light version of the republican party. I mean, every candidate goes out of their way to not appear "soft" on certain things. Even though it'd be the easiest thing in the world, the reason the democrats cannot articulate a concise message against the republicans is because both have the same owner: Money. Their politicies are pretty much the same. I mean you keep hearing all these things from the republicans like "we the Chuck Norrises of the foreign policy business" and the democrats, instead of saying something to counter that message, jut sit there and take it up the ass instead of saying something like "Oh yeah?! In that case we're the fucking A-Team biaches!". And it happens on issue after issue after issue. The republicans always exploit this macho, Bruce Lee persona/view of the world to their maximum advantage.
I mean, look at the environment for peace sake! The democrats, the ones who are supposed to be the tree-huggers and UN fucking ABLE to articulate a position that will set them apart from the repugnants!
They should just throw in the towel and form another party... for The People of course.
