Chen XieXia actually weighs 105 lbs - she was competing in the women's 48kg category and completely smoked the competition - did a clean and jerk earlier today with 117kg (258lbs) - awesome stuff - I'd say about 99% of Getbiggers wouldn't have a hope in hell of lifting that weight like that.

ALL DRUGS!

I did think that when I was watching it earlier - I mean, how feasible is it that a woman that weight could do this naturally? I mean I weigh 240lbs and I have a hard time putting up these sorts of weights - this woman weighs 105lbs FFS!! There's gotta be something they're taking that's undetectable so far surely.

And it's probably funded by the chinese government.

Pro sports are very dirty from the inside.

Yup, 420 pounds won't even get you far in the 77kg class, let alone the 105kg class.

The chinese are the ones (swimmers) who first started the female athletes on roids, followed by the Russians and East Germans.

I am sure they still have a drug program and look for ways to refine it from detection......

lol....my bad. if she's 105lbs then that chick is a freaking pit bull. and yes most punks here including me wouldn't dare clean and jerk 258lbs, but I think most of us can bench press that...lol

I doubt that. maybe or maybe not. there is always gonna be suspiscions, but these women are leading the pack whether you think they're clean or not. I'm sure for the next 16 days, there will be lots of disappointments from those juicers who think they would never get caught, but it's a far stretch to say that Modern day OLYMPICS are 100% clean.

I agree, it is state sponsored, and the athletes don't even know it, they are given "vitaman pills" by their trainers and just take it as told. They are totalitarian countries.

Exactly. Here, take your HMB and B12 pills.  Two months later these broads are lifting 2x their weight.

True, but I doubt US coaches are force feeding athletes roids the way the Chinese and Russians do.

All the drugs in the world will not make any average person lift big weights. Lift more, yes, but no really big weights. It takes more than gear alone.

Agreed, is why I don't get into the whole drug thing. They are all still great athletes who worked very hard.

Olympics is pretty much a level playing field drug wise, all the upper tier are using and trying to beat a test. Simple.

That's the way it is, what I think is irrelvant.

Nothing will stop them, testing just reduces.

At the highest level, it is all just a matter of who gets caught, not whose using, all the top ones are.

While I respect their accomplishments, I can't say they "win" againest female bodybuilders in the looks area imo. For one, many outweigh female BB in some cases by as much as 200lbs.

Female bb may look big photo wise, most are like 130lbs or so. In reality, not sure they would be considered more masculine agianest 350lbs weightlifting women...as they must be huge in person.

Probably the fact that 8 Russian athletes were suspended for doping right before the games, but let's not split hairs here.

China's also falsifying documents to make their 12-14 year old gymnasts 16 years old so they can compete.

Actually, it was a Chinese news agency that uncovered the fact that one of the girls that joined the team last year was 14, that another was 12 and that it's most likely that all but one of them are under 16. It's not that hard to falsify documents of a few people in a country of 1.3 billion.  ::)

Why would the IOC lie about suspending 8 Russian athletes for doping?

Hahaha, taking the kids to train their lives away at 3 years old for over a decade and the Chinese women aren't even that much better than the USA women. All that work and you would think they would be far and away the greatest team on the planet, yet the USA women have two girls who are in contention for multiple gold medals and will put China to the test to win the team gold. They would've qualified ahead of China if they didn't make a few mistakes. Even with all those mistakes, they still qualified just under them.

I wonder what it would be like if gymnastics were as popular in the USA as it was in China and the government pulled children into programs at 3 years old. Probably win 2x as many medals as China.  :D
