Look like he has something like 350 kilos on that lift. 1 x 50kg, 3 x 25 kg, 1 x 20 kg and 2 x 10 kg per side + barbell.

You'd think a guy that strong would have no problem carrying a fridge on his back. :-\

LOL..... that was actually before (1977??) he had a Chiro license I think.
Funny as hell though. That is exactly how Franco's English dialict is too.

might be 1976. i know it's old, but i couldn't stop laughing.
i remember him taking about 2 steps and then folding like a napkin under the fridge.
then the interview with him on the gurney, lol, what a distastrous day for his image.

add: 1977 you were right.

It couldn't have been easy being Arnolds friend, having to watch him hook up with all the chicks, while you stand around looking all short and stumpy....... waiting patiently for some leftovers to drunk to know that Arnold was no longer doing them. I bet Arnold even took the ugly ones (not counting the way Maria currently looks).

I have read that he won a million dollar suit for the injury.
No small $ back then, or today, for that matter

Well, I do recall that he'd flex his chin strongly to his chest, flexing the anterior SCM muscles, thereby protecting the trachea and such.
His hands would be tied behind his back. His sister, Laura used to assist him in this act, but my memory fails following this much info!

She is finer than anyone even today.
She also may have been one of the first to receive implants. I believe they were first used in 1969?

The device used to couple the fridge to competitor was defective, thus the basis of Franco's injury and subsequent suit.

Im impressed with your attempted intelligence, but youre not going to make up muscles and expect me to call bullshit on it.

Sterno-Cleido-Mastoid muscles (SCM).
I don't even know who you are
Thus
Don't expect anything from you.
And, I do think perhaps you train folks, or something like that?
I'd think, in all respect, twice before hiring someone without a firm grip as to what he is speaking of

So you can produce a reputable picture that labels anterior sternocleidomastiod muscles? Also, if there are an anterior set, there must also be aa medial or posterior set s well. Mind to tell us where those are located at?

No. I never said they were anterior or anything else.
I did say that upon flexing the chin to the cest via these and other muscles, you could protect the tracheal area.
That's what they taught me in school, anyway.
Does it really matter?

"What It Is and What It Does
Sternocleidomastoid (SCM) is the big ropey muscle that runs from the mastoid process (the rounded bump behind your ear) to the joint between collarbones and sternum at the base of your throat. This paired muscle pulls the head forward and down, and acts as a checkrein to prevent the head from falling backward. Both of these actions are involved in rolling where you must tuck the head for safety. "

Thank you, Zappy. He has been reminded of his anatomical malfeasance.

every time Franco is mentioned I unfortunately have the picture of some woman eating in Sardinia from Pumping Iron.

That was his momma, 'gumming' some fresh, Sardinian-grown stringbeans.
I actually ate two servings of stringbeans for four years everyday bc I wanted to be like Franco, after seeing that!

Anyone know what Dayton is up to these days?
Dayton lives in Concord, CA.
He is up to the same shit he has been up to the last 30 years, refuses to work an honest job and always tries to get over on people because he is lazy.
I do know his "Chi Mind Control" bullshit book (self published) is no longer (he charged 0 bucks for that shit back in the late 70's early 80's.

I am not sure that is her.
Only bc in that photo, she looks stacked nicely.
In the pic of the girl on A's shoulders, she has "Sagger-Baggers"

Trust me - it's her.
But I can see you've already drawn your conclusion.

But you don't agree those bags are subject to gravity just too much?

I don't think they did implants back then

They're implants. As an average gawker, i can tell what's real and what's fake. Speaking of tits, Zane commented that Franko won the 81 olympia with "one bitch tit"

Chick on the left, best thing in this thread.

My apologies. I didnt read the word anterior anywhere in the link you quoted. You wasted your time it seems.
