I was on another board asking about weight loss and what not. and someone had reccomended doing an ECA stack... I went researched the doses and I'm coming up with....
25mg (Ma Huang Extract) Ephedrine
200-250mg Caffeine
as for the aspirin a lot of people are saying its not really needed. and that it may cause stomach bleeding???
Can anyone catch me up to speed on this and where is a trust worthy site to order it from. id hate to buy some fake shit somewhere
-
go to your nearest pharmacy and pick up some Bronkaid and No Doz and you are all set. You will have to show ID at the counter to get the Bronkaid...simple and cheap as hell
-
Sounds easy enough... only complication is im in Iraq...
-
Guess they don't have those at the Commisary, eh?

Well I lost the 25 last month doing cardio everyday and eating like one sub sandwhich each day when I woke up... I know im supposed to eat like 5-6 small meals a day.. but my schedule out here is nutz I work 13 hours a day and only have access to food a certain times of the day... For example I work 9 at night to 9 in the morning and I have access to a sub sandwhich when i come to work.. and then midnight chow has breakfast stuff... and then of course breakfast at 5...
I figured when I was eating a sandwhich a day i was getting a MAX of like mabye 900 cal a day... and being 250lbs i should burn 2500 easily just going to work and sleeping.. and then doing cardio on top of it. I usually do cardio till i break 1000 cals burned on the machines. so I was thinking im 3500-900 = 2600 cals burned a day... and i read there was 3500 cals in a pound... so id be dropping a lb every other day or so... and 25lbs in a month is about right... but after i hit 250... I completly stopped loosing weight... im stuck
It sounds like ECA is NOT the answer for you. Your diet needs an overhaul as does your workout routine. Since you're in a difficult situation, invest in some protein powder and maybe MRPs (meal replacement powders). You need to increase your calories because you're messing up your metabolism by not eating enough. Cut the cardio in half and use the remaining time for some heavy duty weight lifting.

Princess,
Should you focus on one or the other, cardio or weights? That seems to be the general concensus around here....
-
So... I’m deployed to Iraq right now... and I really want to get in shape while I’m out here. I don’t come home till November so I have 3 months to make some progress. I understand a lot of the basics of good nutrition, exercise, and getting a good night of sleep. However I work 13 hour shifts, and am limited to whatever food this place serves me.
I am currently 6'2 and 250. I came out here at 275 and did nothing but cardio for my first month. And dropped 25lbs... Now I’m looking to build up some muscle and continue to lose weight.
So I am looking to get some tips on supplements I should take, or workouts I should be doing. Or any other things I should know or do.

Based on his situation and short term goal(s), I'd say both for now with a heavier emphasis on weights, but the diet is key.
-
i agree with Princess, ECA isn't the answer for most people, interferes with appetite, sleep and relaxation, 3 things needed to improve, i've always thought ECA is terrible for bodybuilding.
-
Yea? What if your goal is fat loss, plain and simple?
-
well im 6'2 at 250 id like to get down to at least 220...

Thats my question to Princess. What if one only wished to lost fat weight? I don't think Shadow has a whole lot of options in regards to the ideal diet at the moment...

Im am SUPER limited as to what I can get my hands on out here for meals... Breakfast is the only meal I can get just about anything for... other then that its random. I have been trying to eat tuna sandwhiches as often as possible... i throw in an apple a day and have eggs and toast and oatmeal for breakfast. I ordered some protein and Meal rep bars... i have no explode. glutes... daily vitamins... I have a weight lifting work out i want to do , but im already fairly big... im just trying to tone up a bit and drop off the excess fat.

no way should you be trying to LOSE weight at 250 and 6'2" if anything you should be trying to gain good weight.

The Army is making me... or i get demoted... its stupid... and makes no sense....

I understand the food dilemma and addressed it accordingly. I stand by my response. ECA is not the answer. 900 calories a day and excessive cardio isn’t the answer either. Given the situation, of course you’re not going to be putting on mass muscle, but there’s no sense wasting away what you’ve got either. The moderate to heavy weightlifting and reasonable amounts of cardio will do more to achieve your goals than what you’re currently doing. 2500 calories should be your absolute minimum.
Oh, and next time you buy supplements, forget the NO Explode and glutes (?)(glutamine?) and get fish oil.
