Title: Is Fish a good alternative to chicken/steak
Post by: Boost on August 11, 2008, 05:08:55 PM
I have bin plowing down alot of fish recently as an alternative to meats.

I buy packs of frozen fish fillets and microwave them for a couple of mins and then cover in lemon juice.
Any drawbacks from eating lots of White fish?

For the most part, i don't really like fish. I eat a fair bit of tuna, but i can't say i enjoy it.

Fish is great.  Got to be careful about eating too much, though, especially of certain types, because some have high levels of mercury and other toxins.  EPA only warns against kids and those who are pregnant from eating too much, but most should be careful about eating too much fish.

Fish is great - especially if you're on a diet and trying to lose weight while keeping the protein intake high. The only problem I have is that whenever i cook fish it stinks the house out and my wife moans.

no, it's the meat. If the cook slices the intestines, you will die.
