Hey Everyone! As some of you may already know, our great friend Laura Lee has been suffering from some health problems this past year. First a heart problem, then pneumonia, then sarcoidosis. She battled through all these, but now is facing one final hurdle, which is cancer. We all know Laura will beat this because she's such a fantastic, strong, smart, beautiful person.
Lets open our hearts and show Laura Lee that we care with a donation to help with the medical bills or whatever she needs. This can be a very scary time, so lets show her we care, as she has always been caring to all of us and a good friend.

The insurance companies have politicians in their back pocket and also are in cahoots with some of the HMO`s/Physician Boards.
Couple that with the people are too stupid to realize that they are overpaying as it is and that their taxes WOULD NOT increase at all due to medical costs and insurance costs at their current reasonable and customary rates.
Americans on the whole are dim-witted morons and only wake up when the shit REALLY hits the fan.

Americans are already paying for it with the current medical system by Overpaying.
Most Americans WITH health insurance pay way more for healthcare that they don`t use. Or once they reach their insurance limit, they pay even more.
Take all that extra wasted money and put it to Universal Healthcare and it pays for itself 5 times over.
If you don`t like that approach, reducing the military expenditure by 0.5-1 percent covers every single person.
AND
We also keep private insurance for the morons who love to waste their money.
So tell me what is the problem?

The real problem is bigger than Laura. Changing the system is what needs to be done so we don`t have to raise money on an internet message board in order to save someone`s life or so they don`t have to lose their home, health and dignity.

Obama was asked by a reporter if tire pressure made a difference. He said yes, it's a small part of a much larger plan. Some republicans, eager to diss obama, made fun of it.
Once AAA came fwd and reminded everyone of their studies that correct tire inflation will loosen up 1 to 4% of our national demand for gas, resulting in a BIG oil surplus quickly (1% per day adds up fast!) and a dramatic decrease in prices to follow...
Once they released their statement, Mccain did agree it was a good idea. I wouldn't call that a flip-flop. He was ignorant of the statistics, and eager to diss his opponent. Once he was given the facts, he agreed Obama was riht about it.

Offshore drilling is quixotic. It would take 10 years minimum to see any reflection in the market and 15-30 to even procure any petroleum if we started TODAY.
By that time Oil will have gone over the tipping point as far as supply and price.
The only real choice is alternative fuel and energy.
Mercedes Benz has stated they plan to phase out all gasoline powered cars by 2015. An interesting move on their part.

If we even wanted to be more amusing about the matter, one could even focus on obesity and how the extra weight of people contribute to weighing cars down thus using more gas.

Bullshit, numerous oil companies have said it would take way less than 10 years. Besides, back when Clinton was pres, he vetoed a bill to drill when oil was like 25.00 a barrel. The libs won't even get into the reserves that are estimated to last more than 10 years....again, lack of commonsense.

For pure oil, you need a conversion kit, heater, special lines etc...
For BioD, I made my own brewer using an old water heater and some tubing. Cost me about 600$....
Problem is it takes some space; I have an acre here in SoCal which isn't that common.
People should group togheter and found local COOPs.
