There was a great documentary about those former NRD athletes, from what I remember a few of them committed suicide, few turned lesbian, whole bunch of crazy shit. The whole time they were at the sports academy they were getting fed tons of an oral steroid known as Oral Turanabol. Really sad, it destroyed all their lives, they now live in shame.
