Post by: calfzilla on August 14, 2008, 07:18:02 PM
Since Greg Oden was injured all of last year will he be eligible for rookie of the year this year?

Getting paid and playing does not mean anything..he did not play at all in the NBA preseason, regular, or postseason due to injury. The NBA would still consider him a rookie for the 2008-2009 season.

WHo gives a shit. He's going to be a colussol bust anyway. He's certainly talented enough, but he can't stay away from injuries. Plus the major knee surgery he had will already limit his effectiveness. He's not an explosive athlete to begin with and he'll be even less so after that surgery.

The guy is made of glass.

He might be a "bust" to the extent he doesn't play like the no. 1 overall pick, but he certainly has the talent to be a very good NBA center.

But I agree the injuries could derail his career.

I hope Greg Oden never becomes good in the NBA. He's so fucking ugly, it will be a crime to put him in commercials or endorsements ads. He'll make little kids cry at the mere sight of him on TV.

How can you like Ngata, yet say Oden is ugly. WTF difference does it make, they all make more than you or I...
