If we have Handball as well as soccer shouldn't we have volleyball where they only use their legs and head?


PS Handball is one of the shittest sports i have seen. Go Volleyball especially the Polish girls, win lose or draw as long as it goes to 5 sets! and tiebreakers!

unequipped powerlifting
pool ( if shooting is a sport than this should be a sport too)
Sumo wrestling
Synchronized skydiving
Strong man competitions ( yes im serious )
Darts ( who wouldn't want to see a drunk alcoholic win a gold medal )
arm wrestling ( this would be interesting )
Rugby ( most of the world plays it )
Football ( no country would even come close to us... we could even send in a all star collegian team and still wreck the world )

Seriously, Cricket.  I'm an American, with absolutely no interest in it, but I work in IT, and I see the frenzy that many of my East Asian colleagues get into when world tournaments are going on with India in the mix.  The India/Pakistan games literally shut down IT departments.

Given that England is the birthplace of the sport, the # of countries where it is played - Australia, the Carribean, Europe, and India/Pakistan/Sri Lanka, you could get a lot of eyeballs watching the matches, and the Olympics is all about how many are watching so they can sell to advertisers.  Also given the growing East Asian population in the U.S., again you have very high viewership.

personally i want poledancing to be part of it, some of those girls work really hard and deserve a gold medal

we could have poledancing in different weight classes and with all kinds of nationalities

it will be a beautiful thing!

It's a demonstration sport in the London games in 2012.

I think because of 20/20 it will become more popular and easier to watch for those not so interested.
