I say Levrone.
I agree.  Flex and Shawn Ray were excellent bodybuilders as well.

Lou Ferrigno was amazing in 1974. He'd have beat Nubret in that condition the next year, if Arnold didn't show.

Nubret in the '70's / Labrada & Levrone in modern times. Paris deserves a shout too.

Labrada

MJ we agree on something!!

Labrada was robbed twice/arguably three times.

Labrada, Mentzer and Levrone should have a sandow or two each.

Dex Jackson is starting to look like the casualty of this era.

Shawn, Nasser, and Victor got screwed and should have gotten at least one.  Yet Kevin and Flex are the best to never have won.

Shawn Ray came closet to winning, definetly in 1996 or 97

Flex was probably the best pro, the guy possesed one of the best physiques of all time but never won

That said Levrone deserved it the most, 2nd 4 times and over 20 IFBB pro titles.

Lou Ferrigno from 1976-1983 was in SICK shape, floating around 260-275 pounds and ripped to the bone, with sick size.

Bertil Fox was a freak in the early 80's and the judge's were scared of him.

Casey Viator was PERFECT in 1982.

Tom Platz should have taken it in 1981.

If it wasn't for Lee Haney being 5'11" and 250 pounds, Labrada would have taken it, NOT Gaspari.

Shawn Ray should have had it in 1994.

Kevin Levrone should have taken it in 1996 or 1997.

Wolf should have taken it last year.
