got a buddy who actually thinks America should police the world.he says we should take control of situations before they(get outa hand)what ever that means.any impute?

I don't know about policing the world, but I think we should take steps to help stop genocide when we know it is happening (e.g., Nazi Germany, Rwanda).

I think as the dominate superpower, we should and do step in situations where individuals lives, and freedoms are at stake. Stepping in being synonymous with the United States largest humanitarian efforts in the world, food, supplies, equipment, etc.
