spain got silver

fucking great match...kobe was crazy,but spain was also very very good,i rooted for them but in the end they lost...107:118

by far the most exciting event in this years olympia

Kobe won that medal for them, i believe without him they would of had the same result as athens, but fuck what i believe they got GOLD and that's what really matters.
Spain did well to keep up

Good to see that the African basketball team won gold. Africa usually doesn't win anything unless it's long distance running.

lol.  They should have had Mike Miller.  Really needed his shot. 

But this was all about KB24.  I knew once he decided to play the USA would restore order.

Interesting Game.   USA got off it's defense.  Good thing they were shooting 70% form the 3-point line in the first half.

Wade. Lebron, and Kobe....what a force.

Great team.  Kobe and LeBron get in foul trouble and they bring Wade and Paul off the bench.   :)

Redd was useless.
Its all Kobe, Lebron and Wade.

Dont understand why they dont commit to defense, I'm positive they could stifle any team with there athleticism

They actually did play good D for the most part, led by Kobe. 

In hindsight, Mike Miller would have been a better choice than Redd. 

I've been boycotting Plaschke for years now, but he wrote a good article about Kobe's impact on the team:
