Title: Ripping a DVD

Which programs do you use?

I want to rip it and encode it to an .avi file so it takes up less space on my hard disk.

Been trying and searching a bit but to no avail.

Free DVD Ripper does the job, but the quality isn't that good.

With my Mac i use "Mac the Ripper" and "CinemativePro"

With my PC i use ImTOODVD Ripper.
