Adonis, I took one philosophy class at univ so far, and have done research through other various sources, but there are some particular fields (metaphysics) that primarily interest me. Have you read, the God Delusion? I'm considering checking it out, but it seems one has to already be at least moderately familiar with universal philosophy terminology to grasp his readings best. Do you have any suggestions for acquanting oneself without having to spend money on another class im not too sure of?

The God Delusion is REALLY a must read and is not difficult at all. I also think you would like Carl Sagan`s Demon Haunted World or any others of his for that matter. Start with either and you will absolutely love them. There is also Breaking the Spell by Dan Dennett. Any of his books you will enjoy as well.

I always wondered why some insist you can't see evolution? perhaps they are referring to macro evolution at a large scale? For those who insist you can't "see evolution" I encourage you to look into Spiegelman's RNA invitro experiments or even lenski's 11 year ecoli experiments .
