The USED to say a 10# gain would add 1 inch over your whole entire body-but I am calling bullshit on that one.
-
from sedentary to full fledged into training 5x week, my arms gain over 1" but I normally don't gain more than 2-3lb...
-
i'm having to go with 20lbs.. but usuall y the inches gained tend to stay more so than the other places that gained when you cut back down.

You can "pump up" your arms with very little gain in weight.
I added almost an inch to my arms (permanently) in one week as a teen by working them twice a day and doing deep stretches. I gained zero muscle or strength, but they were technically bigger. :-\

I remember that. Joe Weider always talked about that; 10-15lbs in order to put one inch on your arm.
But, as you also say, I'm calling bullshit on it too.

are you guys suggesting that Flex Wheelers claims of having 23 inch arms at 225 pounds bodyweight are inaccurate?
