Dr. Dre's 20-year-old son has died, the rapper's publicist said Tuesday.
"Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr.," publicist Lori Earl said in a statement.
Young Jr., who was named after his father, was found dead Saturday by his mother at their home in suburban Woodland Hills, county coroner's Lt. John Kades said.
An autopsy was performed Monday, but the cause of death wasn't likely to be determined for eight weeks while toxicology tests are done, Kades said.

Maybe it'll make The Detox better somehow.
The Game's new album, again sans Dr. Dre's production credit, came out yesterday and it's great.

Thats a shame ! I can only imagine how Dre is feeling
-
He overdosed obviously.
This is bad for gangsta rap.

I listen to 1/3 Arabic people music, 1/3 black people music, and 1/3 white people music. Hey you oughta throw some D's on that Charger of yours "Power Rod." Check out my Dubain (rhymes with Nubain) rocket-powered sand chariot here, in case you missed it earlier.

Yep....I wouldn't be surprised if he was hangin' with wrong folks....irony is, his "dad" is loaded, so you'd think living in the Hills would keep him away from such stupidity.
-
all kidding aside Dre has to be feeling terrible, has to be the worst thing imaginable to lose a child.

Absolutely. I honestly believe that a parent losing a kid/child is THE worst thing one can experience in this life.

Getting shot over gang turf...now that's hardcore!! ::)
Unlinked to this death though.
Most rappers who continue running with the "hip" crowd, usually don't have the brain power to realize the foolishness behind it. Anyone who needs a dozen people around them at all times to feel good, is pretty sad.

true...

Will listen to "Still Dre" in his honour...

kill yourself.

I respected Dre, one of only 4 black people I could tolerate. His music was undeniable. I don't listen to much Rap except for a few and he was one of them.

"The message" would be more appropriate.

I used to live in Woodland Hills...very snooty area. It's the kind of place where people drank non-fat lattés as a pre-workout drink.
There might've been a tiny amount of gang activity in Tarzana or Reseda, but WH is where you live if you don't want your kids to grow up near that crap.
-
i guess it wasnt his dre day
LMAO
-
His son dealer should go in to hiding.
