I don't recall if it was here or not, but someone once posted that NASCAR stands for Non Athletic Sport Centered Around Rednecks.

NASCAR is cars racing cars not cars racing cars and a track. NASCAR is a unique sport in that competitors must work together to  potentially win the race.

Translation: I'm a redneck that's easily entertained.

Every one to his own.

Golf: some body hitting a little ball into a little hole and getting paid millions for it.

Rugby: A bunch of guys playing with an oddly shaped ball, where they run forward but can only pass back.

Ping pong: need I say more.

The list is endless but some one will like it and find it entertaining.

Oh I nearly forgot
Profesional body building : A guy takes AAS, GH, slin, DNP, eats enough on a day to feed an African village for a week, spends hours in gym picking up weights and working on machines that dont actually do anything.
On the day he dehaydrates, puts on fake colour, oils up and stands on stage near naked to show off his muscles.

But people find it entertaining, call it a sport, scream and cheer from the stands ( mainly guys any way), and the debate glute styrations for the rest of the year  8)

It is quite obvious that none for you hammerheads have ever been strapped into a stock and driven on a race track. You should try sitting in one and be doing about 200 mph, then tell me that it isn't physical.
