I have, and you are correct, it is a great piece of cinema.  Are you familiar with repertory cinema?
Although it is great that you can see any movie you want to anytime you want to with video technology, you are missing something when you don't see a movie such as this..., or WC fields or Marx brothers with a large audience, especially  when they are stoned.
   I am quite sure it has to do with pheromones,  you encounter the same phenomena with a Texas A&M collegiate American football game.
