Mike is AWESOME...Just wished that Hollywood had put him in more movies to capitalize off of his martial arts abilities. Both he and Wesley Snipes are talents that have been under represented.

Wesley Snipes is very well represented.

he was in over 50 movies.

Jay White's not bad.

I meant to say in the MARTIAL ARTS sense. He (Wesley) has done a LOT of movies without question, but it was only BLADE and ART OF WAR that have put his martial arts abilities on display (to my knowledge)...especially in the SUPERHERO capacity. Michael had SPAWN, UNDISPUTED I, II, UNIVERSAL SOLDIER and a few others, but I would have really loved SERIOUS scripts specific to the ARTS.

Wesley snipes did undisputed 1 not Jai-white.

First movie I saw with Snipes was passenger 57. He was using Karate in a number of scenes in that movie.

Classical martial arts are mostly moving lots of air, I can't remember the last time I saw someone in the octagon doing some Karate kicks and shit, MMA for the win and for real life protection.

David Loiseau and GSP use the spinning back (horse)kick - Kyokushinkai.

Andy Hug (K1)- Axe kick - Kyokushinkai

Other Kyokushinkai/MMA fighters
Bas Rutten -
Francisco Filho

Obviously they rely on other techniques drawn from other styles to build a complete fighter. You're not going to see the old fashioned karate chop utilized very often if ever,  but some of the lower body kicks can be devastating as Muay Thai if used properly.

Dude was a badass in Universal Soldier 2.  Also was in a pretty cool/cheesy tournament fighting movie back in the 90's where each fight was done in "virtual reality."  I can't remember what the hell the name of that movie was, but the fight scenes were pretty tight.

Oyama was really Choi...and he went to Thailand to learn those Round House Kicks with the shin...NOT the instep like in Korea and Japan in Karate Do.
