Palin has hired lawyer as trooper probe continues

(CNN) – Alaska Governor Sarah Palin hired a lawyer three weeks ago to act on her behalf as state legislators investigate whether she may have abused her power in firing the state police chief for refusing to fire her ex-brother-in-law, a state trooper, CNN has confirmed.

A report of findings of a legislative inquiry that began several weeks ago is currently slated to be released just days before Election Day.

I assume her sister was married to a state trooper, who then divorced Palin's sister, who then asked the state chief of police to fire him for leaving the family, chief of police refuses so she fires him instead...?

Yep... It didnt mention that Palin called his office 24 times to make sure her ex brother-in-law got fired...

For any official allegations, all people should retain a lawyer.  thats how the system works.
