Don't know about the Dillet picture, but that Nasser pic was taken shortly after he nearly died - so you can't expect him to be in top shape. He still made attended the NOC show regardless of his health problems which negatively affected his condition because he did not want to go back on his word once he signed up for the show - unlike Wheeler who made up a fantasy ninja story in 97 to cower away from losing to Nasser, Yates and others when he was not in shape.

holy shit, that disgusting pile of shit is really sonbaty? man, that is pathetic. look at the bandaid covering the leaking oil.
sad how he ruine dhimself

ARE YOU SAYING THAT FLEX WASN'T JUMPED BY NINJAS?????
The thought of it is just preposterous! jk... that really isn't a fair comparison though.

Bob, this shouldn't be hard to figure..how many shows did Nasser place top 5 in and what were the prize money? Basically I am trying to figure out Nasser's career earnings.
also how much would estimate his total supplement contracts to be?

Yeah, it's a change in training methods. ::)

I never asked him, but I can estimate.
If you dig enough you can probably recalculate his career earnings because his placings are all published and the prize money for those contests are not kept secret either. He was probably averaging 100-150k per year in prize money for 6 years (95 to 2000) if you include the Arnold Classics and European Expo shows after the Mr. Olympia.
Not sure how much his Weider contract would be - 100k'ish per year?
He made lots of money on appearances, had about 50 per year, and at each appearance would sell a few thousand dollars in merchandise, so about 250k per year from appearances. He also kept making regular appearances for many years after 2000.
About 50k per year from his website merchandise.
About $1 to $1.5 million in appreciation of his very large house which was posted before here (I think he bought it in 96 and sold it in 2005, and in 2008 after the housing market values dropped it was still estimated at a value of $2.4 million).
He also invested his money throughout the years and has been getting returns on those.
All in all enough to live comfortably now and not have to worry about working ever again, and still enough to travel, go out often, and maintain 300 lbs with abs ;)

dreadlord also said that nasser was a big steroid dealer to. that brings in some big bucks, especially if its shit like palumbo sold

lets go 1 by 1.
Nasser won the Arnold in 1995 (100K), that is probably the most that he won in a single year.
even if the enter the european shows, how much were their prize money?
so I woud bring that aver to down to 50K per year.

I don't care to look it up but I believe each of those European Grand Prix shows would give $10-$15k for 2nd or 3rd place, and there were six of them after each Olympia.
He also often got second at the AC or top 3 at the Olympia, which are about $40-$50k each I think (and often did both shows in one year) - again I'm not obsessed enough to look up the exact figures, but in the end I think my estimate was pretty reasonable. If you're so concerned about exactly how much he made you should look up the figures and/or email and ask him.

Nasser's record speaks for itself, top 5 in the Olympia many times, finished 2nd in 97, won the Arnold and the NOC, pretty damn good record if you ask me.

is it safe to say that Ronnie was/is more popular than Nasser? how many tshirts and posters would one have to sell to generate a few thousands per show? not to mention the over head of machine those tshirts and shows.
I am going to estimate a couple hundred in merchandising per show probably 10K for the year.

couple hundred LMAO so you're saying he would sell about 20 8 x 10's in the 3-4 hours that he's sitting and signing autographs?!
When Ronnie Coleman came to my city the promoter said he sold over $7k in photos alone in the one session, and that's not even including the fee to bring him down here.
You're clueless, but either way I dont care enough to keep debating with you on this.

I think that nasser is one of the best ever, and yes his record is speaks for itself.

exactly, i met Nasser twice here in the state i live in which is a blue collar midwestern state and at each show he made money hand over fist and was the most popular guest poser there, his money bag which was the type you see banks using were stuffed so full you couldn't put any more money in them, very very humble nice guy.

I can't remember if it was 95 or 96 but in one of those old Flex mags the writer noted in a humorous way that Nasser's booth was right next to Levrone's and had a HUGE lineup meanwhile Levrone was sitting often with no one talking to him!

that is EXACTLY the way it was when he came to the show in 2000 with Ronnie and Flex, his line was almost out the door of the venue and they, especially Flex, had next to no one in their lines, they weren't rude but they were VERY quiet while Nasser talked and joked with everyone.

Probably age, I dont think you haters realize when you age muscle, etc is not as easy to maintain as it was when the individual was 10 years younger...Why not post your pics lets see how bodybuilders are supposed to look so we can compare to Nassar and Dillet? Then we can see how your supposed to look when your 40+ years old. :)
