Just referring to the mental aspects of it, not muscle growth - what kind of effects do they have on your state of mind? Happy? Sad? Ups? Downs? Feel extremely horny and energetic? Want to kill someone? Maintain a level head?
I would assume having more test in your system would increase your mood positively?
-
it does. i feel very confident and positive while on. and have never experienced any of that 'roid rage' urban myth
-
Probably YES.
If you never come of.
-
sure. If you gain ten pounds of muscle, you'll be in a good mood.

Anytime you can raise testosterone levels you are going to feel more confident and powerful.
Trouble is.... as was said already... you have to come off at some point. Then if you are predisposed to being depressed it will be that much worse because your body isn't making anything on it's own.
It might help short term tho...

Depends on the individual. There's talk that low T levels can cause Grumpy Old Man Syndrome, but in most cases I'd say that taking T isn't an appropriate treatment for depression. It may be totally ineffective or even backfire if you're a naturally short tempered guy.

It can turn one into the alpha male, so maybe in the short run of things.
But like someone said, you'll have to come off at some point and that low could mess with you. Best to try and just be happy and not care or worry so much. People with depression tend to worry about everything.
