These two guys are some what entertaining but Please do not let them call another Monday night game...

LOL did you hear ditka on there, ive never really paid attention to his speech but damn dude that guy sounds semi retarted.

yeah it wasn't good, wasn't the worst i've heard but not exactly Dierdorf/Michaels either, Jay Cutler looked fantastic though.

he really did look good but im not sure if its b/c he was that good or b/c the oakland defense was that bad.

It was like all three Mike's were sitting on a couch pounding beers and eating chips, all talking over each other and what not...

It's not as if regular game announcers are so good in this day and age. They're generally banal to mediocre, so i have to laugh when they're used as examples of excellence.

Al Michaels for example, routinely takes a second or two to tell you what you've already seen, he's slow to react and quite frankly quite nasal-extremely overhyped and not that good.

Generally speaking, in the history of NFL TV the best announcers who tell it like it is  don't last long. The NFL and the networks don't want that depth of the reality.
