Please dont forget Bruce Wilhelm. Competed in collegiate wrestling and track and field, as well as being an olympian in weightlifting, and track. Was the first winner of the WSM as well. Twice.

Strongest right now is still Savickas IMHO. Kaz for the all time spot though.
I see Poundstone shaking things up soon though.

Bill and Jon-Pal in the early 1980s and that early strength freak the great Paul Anderson in the 1950s.

abnd louis cyr could side press a 273 pounds dumbbell. and backlift 4337 pounds .the dumbell press in london england . the backlift in boston. late 1890.

mariusz studzianowski.

Poundstone has come up very quickly and for him to place second so soon in his career is phenomenal. I think he has the potential to show us the speed of mariusz combined with the power of Savickas. It would be a world of effort on his part but I think he can do it.

There's also WWE Superstar, Mark Henry, whom FLEX magazine rated the second strongest man of all time (I think Zydrunas Savickas was ranked #1).

backlift of anderson is controversial . in fact they come with a new strongest man every ten years or so . why not the weakest man instead.
-

What about Squadfather?????
-
Anderson was no doubt a freak of strength, but a great many of his lifts are HIGHLY suspect.
-
What about Squadfather?????
There's number two, number one and after 3 light years there's Squadfather.

I wish he were still here. He could write stories about him brutally owning Ken Patera at a Wal-Mart. :D

This wasn't the early 1980's. This picture was from 1988/1989.

zydrunas savickacs is probably king now . but he looks fat compare to kazmaier . only marius pudz had a great shape it seems among current pros
