Title: how can i find out the nutritional value and contents in food that does not come

in packaging? for example if i buy brown rice or chicken breast from the butchers how am i supposed to know how many carbs or potein it has

Go buy a nutritional textbook from Barnes and Nobles or look up the info online.

Next, buy a small food scale and actually weigh out the food and proportion sizes. This is the most important thing.

Soon you'll be able "eyeball" your meals and form a rough guesstimate of the nutritional values.

Use calorieking.com or calorie-count.com and it will help if you buy a food scale
